Shipping Timeframes
We aim to dispatch all online orders within 3-5 business days of purchase.
Once your order has been processed, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your parcel’s journey.
All orders are shipped via NZ Post, and estimated delivery timeframes are:
Within New Zealand
Flat-rate shipping of $9.50 NZD applies to all orders.
Rural delivery is $16 NZD. Please select rural delivery at checkout if your address is rural. Orders with rural addresses that do not include the rural delivery option may be delayed or cancelled and refunded.

Shipping to Australia
We offer flat-rate international shipping to Australia for $20 NZD.
Estimated delivery is 7–12 business days, depending on your location.
Please allow extra time for customs clearance or any unforeseen delays.
** Free shipping to Australia and New Zealand excludes rural delivery. Rural shipping fees will apply to all orders.

Return Policy
At Marlaa Vintage, we are committed to creating a thoughtful and enjoyable shopping experience. As a curated vintage store, each piece is one-of-a-kind and carefully selected. Because of this, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected, and we’re here to help where we can.
1. Incorrectly Described Items
If you receive an item that is significantly different from its description and this was not disclosed, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. We will review the issue and work with you to find a suitable resolution.
2. Vintage Nature & Signs of Wear
All items are vintage or preloved and may show signs of wear or age, please keep this in mind when shopping with us. We do our best to highlight any noticeable flaws in descriptions and imagery. These characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique, and for this reason, we do not accept returns for general wear consistent with vintage items.
3. Change of Mind / Personal Preference
We do not offer refunds for change of mind or personal preference. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, please reach out, we’re always happy to chat and work towards a positive outcome.
4. In-Person Market Purchases
All purchases made in person at markets, pop-ups, or events are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds on these items, so we encourage you to check items carefully before purchasing.
Return Assessment
Please email hellomarlaavintage@gmail.com with any enquires. Please include proof of purchase with your order number, and we’ll guide you through the process.
All returned garments will undergo an assessment process upon arrival. Assessments typically take 1–2 business days to complete.
All assessment outcomes are final and are determined at the discretion of Marlaa Vintage. We aim to be fair and reasonable in all cases where appropriate.
Marlaa Vintage takes garment mishandling and abuse seriously. Refunds or store credits will not be provided for items that show signs of mishandling, damage caused after wear, or misuse.
Customers have a maximum of 5 days from the date their return is approved to send their item(s) back to us. All returns must be sent using tracked shipping, and customers are required to email through their tracking details once the parcel has been lodged. Returns sent outside of this timeframe or without tracking will not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for covering all return shipping costs.
Proof of Purchase
All returns must include your order confirmation or receipt.
Please note: delivery fees are non-refundable.
